Research Interests

Natasha Mikles is currently teaching in the Department of Philosophy at Texas State University. Her research focuses on the myths and rituals surrounding the Tibetan warrior king Gesar of Ling, particularly in relation to the construction of a written canon and Kham identity in the late 19th-century.
