Geshe Lharampa Lobsang Nyendak

Geshe Lobsang Nyendak will present a public talk “Dream Bodies and Contemplation within Tibetan Tantric Buddhism” (གསང་སྔགས་ལས་བྱུང་བའི་རྨི་ལམ་གྱི་ལུས་ལ་དཔྱད་པ།) on Friday, November 4th at 3:30 pm in Gibson Hall 211.

Geshe Lobsang Nyendak is the Chief Editor of the Collected Works of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama at the Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama (Gaden Phodrang). Born in Chentsa, Amdo, Geshe Nyendak began his Buddhist studies at Rongpo Gonchen in Rebkong, where he later taught Buddhist Philosophy. He later earned his Geshe Lharampa degree from Sera Jey Monastery in Karnataka, India, and is currently a doctoral candidate in Philosophy at the Dalai Lama Institute for Higher Education (DLIHE) in Bengaluru. In addition to public service, Geshe Lobsang Nyendak is a prolific scholar, authoring over a dozen books and editing more than forty titles presenting the teachings of religious masters.
