  Red and Yellow: Untangling the Mongolian Lineage Web   In 1679, Khalkha Dza-ya Paṇḍita Blo-bzang ’phrin-las (1642-1715) was sent back to Mongolia by the Fifth Dalai Lama carrying upon his shoulders the duty to spread the teachings of Je Tsongkhapa.
